Co-Founder & CEO of Team Eques and EqueSoul Fitness
BIO

With over two decades of experience in the fitness industry, Nicole has established herself as a leader in international business development, team building, and facility management. Currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Team Eques and EqueSoul Fitness, Nicole has pioneered the first internationally recognised fitness programming designed specifically for equestrians. This innovative programming was born out of Nicole's life long passion for both equestrian sport and personal fitness.  It has been approved by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is accessible worldwide through the EqueSoul mobile app, available on both the Apple and Google Play Stores.

Nicole's career trajectory has been marked by a commitment to driving positive change in both the fitness and sustainability sectors. Having spent a decade overseas, including several years in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, Nicole has amassed a wealth of experience in international business relations. During her time as Chief Operating Officer in KSA, women's fitness was still technically illegal, which was one of the reason's Nicole accepted the position and why she was relentless in her pursuit of operational and financial success.  Following these achievements she was asked to accept the position of Director of International Franchise Operations for one of the fitness industry's largest franchisors, Gold's Gym International. Nicole accepted, delivering training, education, and operational support to over 350 gyms across 27 countries.

During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nicole played a pivotal role in navigating the fitness industry through unprecedented circumstances. Through collaboration with her teams and governments worldwide, Nicole developed operationally sound policies and researched technologies aimed at securing the industry from future pandemics. Her efforts were recognised through the publication of an influential article, which ultimately led to her appointment as the Vice President of Government and Commercial Development at The Aerem Group, a UK-based company specialising in carbon footprint reduction strategy and technology solutions.  On the back of this appointment, Nicole was asked to speak at the British Embassy in Washington DC on behalf of the Department for Business and Trade regarding which technologies can best be used to create sustainable high performing buildings.

Prior to her international ventures, Nicole held key leadership positions and in business development for startups and multi billion dollar companies alike. She also served as the Executive Director for the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce in New Mexico and the Board of Directors for the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce. During which time, her contributions to economic development and tourism were recognised with prestigious awards, including the Delta Mu Delta "Businesswoman of the Year" and being voted as one of the top "40 under 40."

Nicole remains dedicated to leveraging her extensive experience in the fitness industry to empower equestrians worldwide, enabling them to enhance their physical and mental well-being for the betterment of themselves and their horses.

She is a mum to two fantastic children, a Hannoverian named, "Slim Shady," a Border Terrier named, "Zuma," and wife to her partner in life and business, Nick Nason.  If you ask her enough times, she will tell you what it was like to win the 100th episode of Fear Factor.  Just be ready for her to tell you what it was like to drink a rat!
