BIO

Sophie came to the world's attention with a picture of her breastfeeding her 3-month-old baby whilst running the 106-mile Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB).  Since then, she has advocated for women's rights in sports, founding She RACES, a campaign to make races better for women, which has had a global impact.  Sophie is passionate about supporting mothers to be active in pregnancy and beyond, making a film about her struggles returning to running postpartum with a prolapse.

At the age of 40 she won her first GB vest with a PB running 235.7km in 24 hours and most recently finished top Brit at the World Championships in Taiwan.
